After the most popular hero on the planet abruptly retires, Spirit, a new and young super powered being, appears and fills the void. Initially, the public embraces her as a champion, but a tragic event occurs that Spirit is blamed for. The same public that once held her in high regard now calls her unworthy of her abilities and a threat to society.
Spirit must now navigate her new situation as she discovers what it truly means to be a hero.
THE NEW HORIZON COMICS UNIVERSE BEGINS HERE!
The tragic event that takes place, in the first issue, is the 'Big Bang' of the New Horizon Comics Universe (NHCU) and opens the door to everything that follows.
Whether it's an ongoing series, mini-series, or one shot...all the stories that are told in the NHCU are built off the foundation of this one event.
It's a definitive moment for Spirit as it changes how she has to navigate her role as a superhero and blazes a trail for all who follow behind her.
